This isn't going to make it only any list of my all-time favourite dramas, but it was a lot of fun. There was delicious crack, but the series could be surprisingly moving at points, too. The overall theme was about the importance of family--whether it be by blood or choice--and I'm weak for those kinds of stories.

Truthfully, I haven't liked any of Quinn's work so much as I did "Romancing Mr. Bridgerton." I've been a bit let down by everything else of hers that I've tried so far.

This is why I don't usually watch series that haven't been fully subbed: waiting for the next episode of That Fool is going to drive me crazy. It's not that the show keeps me on the edge of my seat--it's pretty mellow, really--but I have momentum going! I've been haunting the thread at d-addicts.

I kind of want to do a drama treasure hunt. Provide screencaps every time you run into any of the following:

* A rain scene
* Shower scene
* Piggyback ride
* Running after a bus/car/train/plane
* Significant meal (kdramas are big on this, I've noticed)
* Awkward kiss (or, is anyone enjoying this kiss?)
* Accidental kiss (trip and fall on your lips)
* "It's not what it looks like!" (trip and fall on top of you just as your parents/your date/the media shows up)
* One half of the OTP witnesses an intimate moment between their OTP and the ex.
* Sickbed scene
* Tending the injured half of the OTP
* A fight scene ending with a single smudge of blood at the corner of the mouth.
* etc, etc, etc.

There are some awesome squares on my card, and some that. . . I've never given much thought to. Thank goodness I have so many crack friendly fandoms. (Lemme see: Gokusen, Ouran, Hana Kimi, The Wallflower, Skip Beat! Big Wolf on Campus, GetBackers, Eyeshield 21. . . yeah, I can work with them.)

That Fool, episode 1-3

The picspam over at brokemycaps convinced me to move this drama up my "to watch" list.

Han Ji Soo is a wildly popular actress. Goo Dong Baek is a good natured (and often overlooked) postal worker. Ji Soo has a secret relationship with politician Kang Mo (her former boyfriend, now engaged to a more "suitable" woman chosen by his controlling father). Their relationship comes close to being exposed, which is when Goo Dong Baek--Ji Soo's devoted fan--steps in as her boyfriend.

The "fake lovers" plot goes as smoothly as it ever does.
